FAQs

Is there an age restriction to play Walking Football?

Our Walking Football sessions are aimed at men and women over 50, we do allow younger people to attend who are carry injuries. As we have found that our sessions are brilliant for post injury strengthening and rehabilitation.

I have not played for years or have never played, will this be a problem?

Not at all! In fact a lot of our Walking footballers have had a long break from the game, and we have a couple of players who had never played until coming to us. Our sessions are laid back and flexible where you set your ow limits.

What is the difference between Walking Football and Normal Football?

Firstly in walking football you are only allowed to walk. The walking automatically slows the game down therefore, there is less contact, less twisting and turning reducing the risk of injury. Walking Football is also played on a smaller scale of 5 or 6 a side.

What do I need to bring?

All you need to worry about is bringing comfortable clothes and footwear. Please note we do not allow studded or moulded boots, flat trainers only. Shin pads are not compulsory but are heavily advised. We supply everything else from the equipment to drinks of water. Don't forget a towel, if you would like a shower afterwards.

How do I join?

There are no commitments, sign ups or hidden costs. Our sessions are just turn up and play! Pop in and have a look what its all about.
